Incarnation / Excarnation

Born out of the Pillow Book performance, where ‘notes of the pillow’ were gifted to the audience as both a “departure”/ death and a rebirth – Incarnation/Excarnation reflects on the eternal cycle of life and death. The series explores the spirit’s passage – entering the body, departing from it, and persisting beyond it. Life and death are treated as equals, two sides of the same mirror, inseparable in their reflection of existence
